Yoshihisa Abo, M.D.

Dr. Yoshihisa Abo is the founder and president of the Kita-Aoyama D clinic.
Graduating with his medical degree from the University of Tokyo in 1993, Dr. Abo completed his surgical internship and residency at the University of Tokyo Hospital, Department of Surgery.  He completed his fellowship in anesthesiology at Toranomon Hospital and in gastroenterological and vascular surgery at Tokyo Metropolitan Sanraku Hospital, Department of surgery, before returning the University of Tokyo Hospital, Department of surgical oncology and vascular surgery in 1997. He has performed more than 500 operations for gastric cancer, colon cancer, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, abdominal aortic aneurism, huge retroperitoneal tumor, inguinal hernia, hemorrhoid, and so on.
 
He is famous for devising outpatient stripping for varicose vein for the first time in Japan. Since 2000, he has pioneered the in-office management of vascular  diseases with unprecedented results utilizing treatment modalities ranging from the newest technologies of contemporary equipment to the most traditional therapeutic methods. He has performed more than 10,000 operations for varicose vein of lower extremities in the form of outpatient surgery properly and surely.

He is Board-certified in angiology and general surgery.  He is a member of Japan Surgical Society, Japan Surgical Association, the Japanese Society of Vascular Surgery, Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery, Japanese College of Angiology, Japanese Cancer Association, Japan Society of Clinical Oncology, Japan Society of Coloproctology, and Japan Anti-Aging Foundation.

‘D’ in Kita Aoyama D Clinic symbolizes Day Surgery, Daily Health Care and Dermatology, and we aim the 21st century-style personalized general medical clinic where high-level treatments are provided in those three different fields simultaneously with the cutting-edge equipment and medical technology.

Sometimes a serious disease is concealed behind the light or even no symptom, but the issue is that the sufficient medical treatments with both “soft” (latest medical information and cutting-edge technology) and “hard” (most current medical facilities and equipment) are provided only at advanced hospital or university hospital.

I thought we need a medical institution where people can consult a doctor casually on a daily basis while getting a high-quality most current medical treatment.

Doctors who learnt at the University of Tokyo and Keio University, and were working or researching at those University or related hospitals, sympathized my ideal and Kita Aoyama D Clinic was born.

Kita Aoyama D Clinic is a general clinic that is capable of providing preventive treatments for three major adult diseases (cancer, myocardial infarction, apoplexy), anti-aging, beauty dermatology as well as one-day surgery.
